Reflexivity has proposed lifelong learning based on many methods, especially the abilities of introspection, looking within ourselves and recognizing feelings and more, AND also the ability to be engaged with others and recognize mutually that we may notice differences and similarities, to notice community values and to arrive at our own for the wellbeing of all. Some simply call this Action and Reflection and that we are constantly doing both. We get to choose the meaning we make. I believe we are born inherently good and have the free will to choose how we will live and engage with each other and all of Nature.
Many believe as I do, that this is how we learn through engagement with mutual goodwill. If you understand this, you will recognize something ancient and something quantum: everything and everyone is connected, even as we are divinely unique. As meditation teacher Davidji claims, as do others, we are all literally made of stardust. And this all takes practice.
I, Nancy Ellen Peden, recently had a creative idea of making Reflexivity more cooperative, more interactive, and co-creative. After getting to know artist Pi Luna and some of her worldviews and philosophy, I felt we might be a good match., especially when she shared some of her worldviews and philosophy.
Here is our improvisation, which I am calling our Deep Chat. Do not miss her ART! Enjoy.
When you sign up for Pi’s Newsletter, you get to choose a picture. I chose Orion, a custom piece she did for a 2-year-old whose middle name is Orion. Remember I said we are all made of stardust?
Pi shared a presentation she made in Santa Fe (we live about 40 miles apart), both well aware of the Santa Fe Institute where Chaos Theory was first proposed. I won’t go into that, but I will share one of my favorite books by quantum physicist David Bohm,
Wholeness and the Implicate Order. Where others saw chaos, Bohm saw a divine order and would eventually become a mystic.
I felt this all echoed what Pi had shared and what art does: makes sense out of chaos. And when you see Pi’s process, I believe you may agree. In our Zoom meeting, let’s get her to talk about the creation of REXY.
Here is Pi presenting in Santa Fe. Meet Rexy and how Pi brought him to life, creating order out of chaos:
I loved that she was interested in breaking out boxes and finding common soil, connections, and stories, our common humanity. I hope you understand how Reflexivity and Pi Luna’s art resonate. I hope you want to bust out of a box and create!
Here is Pi, echoing the Santa Fe talk, explaining her name and a bit more of her philosophy and worldview. ALL of Pi’s Art is earth-friendly, btw and she plants trees to give back. We enjoyed speaking of reciprocity.
